I´d like to write here something about this great week when Turkish students came here to the Czech republic.

Monday 8th February 2010

In the afternoon Turkish students came to Moravské Budějovice by a van. We had been waiting for them at the bus station. We introduced each other to them and everybody went home with his Turkish guest. Then I went home with Hilal, my guest for next few days.

Tuesday 9th February 2010

In the morning we went to Moravské Budějovice from Krnčice, the village where I live. We went to high school and talked about plans for the whole week. After a snack at 12 o´clock we went to our museum of trades. We could see there history of our town from prehistory till 20th century. Then we went to our minaret:

The view was great, but it was too cold and windy, so we went down soon. After that we went to bowling, which was great fun. Czech team won twice :-)) After bowling at 5 p.m. everybody went home.

Wednesday 10th February 2010

At 11 o´clock we went to Jihlava by bus. We walked around the city and took some photos. Then we went into a zoo.

There weren´t too many people, so we didn´t have to wait. Then we spent few hours in the shopping centre “City park”. We could buy some clothes, jewellery, decorations etc. and have a lunch in KFC. Later we went home.

In the morning we went to Třebíč by bus. When we walked around the city and went to look on St. Prokop basilica, we went to the Jewish town and visited both Sinagogs. We could see a model of the Jewish town and exposition of Jewish life too:

Seven-branched candelabrum

Then we walked through the Jewish quarter and after that we went home by bus.

In the morning we took all Hilal´s luggage and went to the high school, where we left the bags and went skating. After the skating, which was actually very funny, we went to the school for students´ luggage and then to teachers´ hotel, where the van was waiting. We said good bye each other and Turkish students went to Prague.

You did a wonderful work, compliments. I want to come to Czech Rep! :-)
Ciao,
Alfredo Boccasile
